Cabinet Finishes
Custom Finishes on EVERY job
NuFace Cabinetry strives to produce some of the finest cabinet finishes offered in today’s market. We employ base coat, clear coat 2K technology in all of our painted products, producing some of the most durable and attractive finishes available in the wood finishing sector.
Schedule an EstimateWhy 2K
A 2K finish cures to a harder, tougher coating than ordinary paint, so it stands up to moisture, grease, cleaning and everyday knocks. Because we spray it in our own finish department, it lays down smooth with a factory look you cannot get from a brush or roller on site.

Doors and finishes
Pick a door style and a finish
Most of our customers choose a painted finish from our curated range of colors, from soft whites and grays to deeper blues and greens. For a warmer, more natural look we also offer stains that show the grain of the wood. Either way the finish is sealed with the same durable clear coat.
Flat panel
A flat center panel framed by square-edged rails and stiles. A popular choice for refacing and custom work.
Wide rail
Wider rails and stiles for a bolder frame.
Narrow rail
Slim rails and stiles for a lighter, more contemporary look.
Beaded frame
A fine bead detail around the inside edge of the frame.
Color match
Match what you already have
Already have cabinets, trim or a paint chip you love? Bring it to your estimate and we will match the color, so new doors or refaced cabinets blend in with the rest of your home.
Custom
Any color, painted or stained
The finishes shown here are just a starting point. Choose any color, painted or stained, and we apply it in our own shop with the same durable 2K clear coat.

Natural wood
Cabinet doors for every kitchen
Doors and drawer fronts are what you see and touch every day, so they set the look of the whole kitchen. We offer a range of door styles in real wood, from clean flat-panel profiles to more detailed frames, and we finish every one in our own shop.
The preview above shows a few popular profiles in our finishes. Bring a photo or a sample door to your estimate and we will help you narrow it down.

A few popular profiles
Flat panel
A flat center panel with square, even rails and stiles. Clean and timeless, it suits traditional and transitional kitchens alike.
Wide rail
Broader rails and stiles give the door a heavier, more substantial look that suits larger kitchens and taller cabinets.
Narrow rail
Slimmer rails and stiles make the door feel lighter and more modern, with a larger flat panel that shows off a painted finish.
Beaded frame
A fine bead along the inside edge of the frame adds a touch of detail and shadow line for a softer, more traditional feel.
Choosing a style
Match the feel of your home
Narrow rails lean modern, wide rails feel substantial and beaded frames lean traditional, so start with the look of the rest of the house.
Think about the finish
Painted doors show off crisp lines and work with any profile, while stained doors highlight the grain and look best on a classic or beaded frame.
Consider the scale of the room
Tall cabinets and big kitchens can carry a wide rail, while smaller kitchens often look cleaner with a standard or narrow rail.

Color matching
If you have a color in mind, bring us a paint chip, a door, a piece of trim or anything else with the shade you want. Matching new cabinets to existing ones is how we make hybrid projects look like one kitchen instead of two.
Caring for your finish
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth
Mild dish soap and water handle almost everything, and a soft cloth keeps the surface free of fine scratches.
Skip harsh cleaners and scrub pads
Abrasive powders, bleach and scouring pads can dull any finish, so stick to gentle products.
Dry up standing water
Wipe spills and splashes around the sink and dishwasher so moisture never sits on the wood for long.
